On Wednesday, Feb 21, people gathered in Greenwood, B.C. for an unveiling ceremony.

What was unveiled was a bronze statue of a miner installed on the front space outside the Assay Office (just beside the Museum).

The brisk weather kept the ceremony short and it was followed by a celebration of mining history in the Greenwood area – that took place in the warm interior of the MacArthur Centre.
