The Fall Fair has been a regular celebration of rural, agricultural, life in many places over the years.
Grand Forks is having another one in this year (2018) following a long list that began in 1910.
Recently a patron dropped a couple of older Fall Fair Programs off at the library for me. (I guess they know I’m connected with the Historical Society) These were from the years 1967, 1972 and 1975.
The 1967 Fair was held at Firemen’s Park but the later ones were held near the arena.
The very first Fall Fair in Grand Forks was in 1910. They might have had printed programs . . . I don’t have any around to show you. So I have the next best thing: the newspapers of the day. Here for you are the two newspapers from 1910 and 1911
