Our Projects
The Boundary Historical Society has several ongoing projects we are working on to bring awareness to the rich history of the Boundary area.
We publish a series of books called the Boundary History Reports which contain articles about families, organizations, people and places related to the history of the Boundary. (we have produced 18 of these books so far).
The Phoenix Pioneer Cemetery is located at the abandoned ghost town of Phoenix. It is our goal to restore and maintain the cemetery as it once was over a century ago.
Gladys Floyd’s Cabin at Jewel Lake was built in 1899 and is located where a townsite for the historic Jewel Mine was located. The Boundary Historical Society maintains this cabin and it provides a glimpse into life at the lake over 100 years ago.
If you have a suggestion for an article or would like to contribute to our Reports, or assist with work parties at our project sites, we’d love to hear from you. See our Contact Us page for more information.
