Who are we?

The Boundary Historical Society is a non-profit organization run by a Volunteer Board of Directors.

What do we do?

We collect, preserve and disseminate the history of the Boundary area of British Columbia.
For a large part of its the history the BHS has produced printed books, the ‘reports’, which cover various topics of the history  of the area, its people, places and events. We are currently working on Report #19.

We also hold a Luncheon in the winter and Picnic in the summer. For the Luncheons we try to have a presenter speak on some aspect of Boundary History. The picnics are usually hosted and located in places of historical note.  And proceeds from these events go to cover the costs of holding them and the costs of printing the Reports.

We are also the stewards of the Phoenix Cemetery, one of the last remaining pieces of long gone Phoenix B.C.
